The clubs open and close on a calendar, and it is short
Ibiza's club season is a fixed window, not a general summer condition. The big rooms — Pacha, Hï, Ushuaïa, Amnesia — hold opening parties in late April, and closing parties run from mid-September into the first half of October. Each club and each individual residency sets its own end date, which is why closings are scattered across several weeks rather than falling on one weekend.
By late October most of the venues and much of the restaurant trade in San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa have shut for the winter. From November to March the island is quiet in a way that surprises first-time visitors — beautiful, walkable, cheap, and with almost none of what it is famous for operating.
The climate score will happily rate a mild October or a pleasant April. Whether the island you have in mind actually exists on those dates is a separate question.
